MAY ‘24 : CINCO DE MAYO
So, here’s the story… Back in 1862, the Mexican army, led by General Ignacio Zaragoza, pulled off a memorable victory against the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla. Even though they were outnumbered and facing a super fancy French army, they somehow managed to come out on top.
So, this weekend on May 4, we’re throwing a big ol' celebration at Madre Liverpool to honour that legendary win, with live music from Joe Hazlett from 1-3.30pm.
